Duna-Drava National Park and Donau-Auen National Park presented the Network of Protected Areas – DANUBEPARKS at the Festival of Hungarian cattle dogs

Every year the Duna-Drava National Park organizes a festival with a competition of traditional Hungarian cattle dogs at the visitor centre in Drávaszentes. Beside the competition there was an interesting program for the visitors: exhibition of traditional handicrafts, horse riding, playing with the children.

This year the Donau-Auen National Park presented its National Park and visitor program at the occasion of the festival as well as the Network of Protected Areas DANUBEPARKS. A National Park Ranger performed a play with children concerning the animals of the National Park.

Cooperation between Duna-Drava National Park and Donau-Auen National Park goes back to 1998. Exhibition and festivals were jointly organized and strategies for nature conservation jointly developed. The good cooperation now continues at DANUBEPARKS.
