The study trail leads from the edge of the strict protected Nagy-rét (Great-Meadow) to the Danube. With the help of the information boards and the guiding you can get to know the functioning of the floodplain and can get insight into the connection between floods and floodplain farming. The route passes the reconstructed Belestye-fok and leads through the restored stone bridge over the Ásás. You can get to know the wet meadows, and on the information boards even the process of wood rot is presented. Along the study path, on one of Hungary’s biggest floodplain pastures, the extensively farmed, protected and native Grey Cattle herd can be observed.
The program can be ordered with or without horse cart.
