Hiking and biking route to Hisarlaka Site (purple color on the map):The route is passing along the Danube through the protective dyke and leads on west to Hisarlaka Site. The site is located on the bank of the Danube River near the fishing village of Belene. This is a perfect place for picnic, recreation and fishing. The International regata TID stops here each year . Hisarlaka Site is a starting point of one of the kayaking routes. Touristic facilities are available.
