Visit in the Historical Memorial Site of Mohács

The graveyard established at the place of the Battle of Mohács on August 29 1526 can be visited near Sátorhely. The park is the last resting-place of more than 1700 soldiers. Besides the gravemarks, the procession of the battle, reconstructed historically, can be followed until its tragic end. The renewed Memorial Site can be visited from 2011. The imposing new Exhibition building shaping the Holy Crown of Hungary gives place for exhibitions in four floors. Weapons from the XVI. Century can be seen in the exhibition the same as an interactive plotting board with XXI. Century technology. The petal-shaped graveyard can be watched from the upper floor located observation room.
