DANUBEPARKS was the co-organizer of the 13th International Symposium Kopački rit - past, present, future which took place on 2nd and 3rd of October 2024.
The Symposium has been gathering scientists and experts from different fields for 13 years, aiming to present relevant studies, research, and projects related to the Kopački rit Nature Park and the Danube River.
Numerous experts had the opportunity to present their work this year including our Mr. Matej Marusic who used this opportunity to present the Danube WILDisland Ramsar Regional Initiative as a look into the future of joint river conservation and trans-border cooperation.
