On the 11th of November 2021, the 16th Steering Group Meeting of the EUSDR Priority Area 6 was held.
DANUBEPARKS was co-organizer of the meeting and it was a great opportunity to get an update on ecological connectivity in the Danube region. It was also an opportunity to see how to anchor the WILDisland initiative on a policy level.
With our General Secretary - Mr. Georg Frank - as a driving force of a meeting and active participation of many representatives of DANUBEPARKS' Protected Area (as well as the LIFE WILDisland and LIFE DANUBE FREE SKY project partners), we confirmed one more time that DANUBEPARKS is one of the key partners when it comes to EU Green and Blue Infrastructure.
The meeting was attended by 51 participants, Steering Group Members, Observers and Guests (including from ICPDR, DSTF and line ministries) within the Priority Area 6: Biodiversity and Landscapes, Quality of Air and Soils.
