On November 8th, the Danube Tourist Commission together with DANUBEPARKS, Danube River Network of Protected Areas, organizes the first joint Danube Nature & Culture Tourism Conference in Vienna.
The presentations will give insights to destinations and travel opportunities along the whole river - with a special focus on nature tourism in protected areas, as well as uniting cultural elements along the Danube.
The location of the conference, the LobauHaus Wien - visitor centre of the Donauauen National Park in Vienna, puts participants directly into one of the existing offers. Additionally, an evening excursion to the floodplains will be organized, and you're invited to participate in the edutainment dinner afterwards.
As an add-on, the DANUBEPARKS network will have an internal workshop day afterwards together with three tour-operators, to discuss in more details cooperation options.
